Four people are dead and reportedly 24 more injured after a stage collapsed tonight at the Indiana State Fair before the country band Sugarland was to perform.

More than 40 people were taken to local hospitals, according to reports. Musicians, especially those in the country music community, spoke out on Twitter, expressing their sadness and shock of Saturday night’s events.
Winds on Saturday night were estimated between winds between 60 and 70 mph.
The Indianapolis Department of Public Safety posted on its Twitter page the death toll and wrote that 40 people had been taken to hospitals in the area. An unknown number are in critical condition.

Thank you.”According to reports and video footage, parts of the grandstand stage swayed and collapsed shortly before 9 p.m., about 30 minutes after "Love Song" singer Sara Bareilles finished her opening set. Star reporter Dave Lindquist, on Twitter, noted that he saw threatening clouds "rolling in from the west" and moments later reported, "Tragedy at fair concert. Entire stage collapses on track."
