Jennifer Shrader Lawrence (born August 15, 1990) is an American film and television actress. She has had lead roles in TBS's The Bill Engvall Show and in the independent films The Burning Plain and Winter's Bone, for which she received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. It was recently announced that the flick will be getting both a soundtrack and a score. The film’s score will be composed by Oscar winner T. Bone Burnett (Crazy Heart) and Oscar nominee Danny Elfman.
Based on Suzanne Collins‘ novel of the same name, the flick follows Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence), a 16-year-old living in the post-apocalyptic country of Panem. Every year, a boy and girl are chosen from each of the country’s 12 districts to fight each other to the death until only one remains.
