Apple's faster 13.3 inch and MacBook Airs revealed ,backlit keyboard

Apple has unveiled updated its MacBook Air ultraportable notebooks.

These new models feature Thunderbolt high-speed IO, a backlit keyboard and come with Mac OS X 10.7

‘Lion’ pre-installed.

The base standard configuration includes a 1.7 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128 GB of flash storage
 
The more expensive standard configuration also includes a 1.7 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, but 
 
upgrades the storage to 256 GB.
A built to order option will also be available and this includes a 1.8 GHz chip, 4GB of RAM, and 256 GB 
 
of flash storage
 

Battery life is listed as 5 to 7 hours,

    Note: There is an option of a 1.8GHz Core i7 CPU.




 Apple introduced the "world's first Thunderbolt display" Wednesday morning. When used with 
 
another 
 
Thunderbolt-compatible Mac, users can access the display's audio, Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire 800, 
 
USB 2.0, Thunderbolt ports, and FaceTime camera through a single cable, though there's still a separate 
 
MagSafe connector for powering your MacBook Pro or Air. The size of the LED-backlit display 
 
remains the same at 27 inches, with a resolution of 2560x1440, and is priced at $999.
