Christopher Walken Hires Hawyer Over Natalie Wood Investigation

Christopher Walken is lawyering up. The investigation into the 1981 death of actress Natalie Wood was officially reopened on Friday, November 18, and according to The Hollywood Reporter. All eyes are on Christopher Walken this week after Los Angeles detectives reopened the case of Natalie Wood's mysterious death 30 years ago, which the coroner ruled as an accidental drowning.

The Associated Press reported that Walken, the Other Man on the boat the night Wood argued with her husband Robert Wagner and subsequently drowned, said: "We had a lot to drink that night. There was sambuca. There was shouting. And then there was tragedy. And that's all I can remember."

Wood's sister, Lana, was not on the boat, but told CNN's Piers Morgan on Friday that she has spoken with Davern many times and believes her sister did not fall off the boat. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. John Corina said Friday that several sources had come forward with new information that warranted "another look at the case," but that Wagner is not a suspect in the death.
