Glen Campbell

Country legend, Glen Campbell, revealed today that he has Alzherimer's and plans to put on one last farewell tour for fans in an exclusive interview with People.

The 75-year-old and his wife Kim decided to go public with the news now in order to keep fans from speculating about his behavior during the upcoming performances.

Campbell and his wife Kim have now gone public with the diagnosis ahead of a number of planned retirement shows later this year, revealing they don't want fans to worry if he forgets his lines.

In a Paris court Wednesday, John Galliano blamed his anti-Semitic rant on a “triple addiction” (booze, barbiturates, sleeping pills) that he said has twice put him into rehab.

A conclusion that the couple wanted to avoid by going public with Campbell's disease.

But in lieu of his diagnosis, the singer does not seem to be slowing down.

The chart-topping Grammy-winner is hoping to organize a farewell tour with a full schedule of live performances kicking off this fall.
