Most of my learners by the time mentioned know this. Phaedra Parks is shown helping out a client who was oddly willing to be shown on camera.
(She told me in an interview before the season started that most of her clients don’t want to be on the show, for obviousl reasons.) This dope smoking, tinted-car dude in Morrow named Dave clearly didn’t care. Early in the episode, after Cynthia Bailey hosted a fashion show, Marlo Hampton (a “Real Housewives” wannabe) showed up with former NFL player Charles Grant. They appeared to be dating. Phaedra Parks dished to Sheree Whitfield that Grant had dated NeNe Leakes while NeNe was on the outs with her husband Gregg.
(”I’m not one to gossip,” Phaedra said at one point, disingenuously.) There was a fashion show at the Atlanta botanical gardens which meant that the Housewives were finally going to see Cynthia in her element. Sadly, her element is butchering names and issuing weary corrections. After last night's episode Cynthia probably just halved her speaking-engagement fee. Meanwhile, at the International Interior Design Fashion Show, Cynthia was getting ready to be the emcee, and some of the girls were coming to watch.
Phaedra and Apollo showed up, because they've made amends with Peter (although I couldn't help but notice that Peter wasn't really seen anywhere near Apollo throughout the whole thing, but that's another story). Kandi gives her mom a fancy drag queen makeover, an extra-small Spanx and a sports car for her to lie on.
All this just to put her mom on a dating site, as she's newly single. Hmmmm. I won't comment on the newly single part, but I agree with moms: It was way too much makeup for a 60-year-old. Kandi reminds her mom to use condoms.
