The Kings tried to wow premier free-agent forward

Brad Richards on Friday with a pitch that included

videotaped appeals from Wayne Gretzky and Kobe

Bryant and a front-loaded offer worth nearly $60 million

over nine years, but Richards decided to sleep on his

decision and announce his choice Saturday.

If Brad Richards is looking to the get the most money, it likely won’t be from the NY Rangers. The Rangers,

Maple Leafs, Lightning, Kings, Flyers and Sabres could be interested in signing Richards. The Rangers could

offer a front loaded 6 year deal in the $7 million range.

Brad Richards has declined the Lightning's offer and will not be coming to Tampa Bay, according to the St.

Petersburg Times. The problem was money. Richards might have been willing to take less to play for the

Lightning, but not as much less as the Lightning needed him to take.

James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail notes the teams interested in Richards as the Toronto Maple Leafs,

Buffalo Sabres, Tampa Bay Lightning and Los Angeles Kings. Mirtle believes a deal could come as early as

today, and could be heavily front-loaded:

The Kings, Leafs and Bolts are believed to have already pitched offers; who knows exactly how many more

squads will line up to the same. Richards will be thoughtful in his approach and has already indicated he wants
two things -- a long-term deal in a place he's comfortable and another real shot at the Stanley Cup. He may

not sign Friday and could take a few days to make up his mind.

The Rangers will have competition for Richards, the Post suggests -- the Philadelphia Flyers. And based on

salary cap figures, Philadelphia could feasibly add him, assuming his cap hit is in the $5 million-$6 million

range.

 Although, no one hit the MEGA Millions jackpot last night, one lucky California Lottery player who bought

their ticket in Los Angeles matched five of six numbers and won $701,316.

The lucky ticket was sold at the Grande's Mini Market at 4350 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The ticket

matched the numbers 47, 27, 12, 48 and 17, missing only the Mega number of 33.

Wow. What a scandal. Linda Evangelista actually lied a couple of

years ago to protect the father’s identity,

but a visit to family court has revealed all. The father of her

4-year-old son is Salma Hayek’s husband.

Though Evangelista's representative denied of Pinault's paternity

back in 2007, the Victoria's Secret stunner

came to court with hopes of hashing out a support agreement with

Pinault, the father of Augustin James.

  Evangelista initially said the father was "a New York architect," but Pinault's name started circulating in 2007,

thanks to Page Six. At the time, Didier Fernandez of DNA Model Management, told People.com, "Not true.

[Evangelista] has never said who the father is.

The father of supermodel Linda Evangelista’s 4-year-old boy is none other than billionaire Frenchman

Francois-Henri Pinault — who just happens to be the husband of actress Salma Hayek, The Post has

learned.Linda, 46, has lied in the past to protect her son and Francois, claiming the boy's father was "a New York architect."

When Linda Evangelista had son Augustin (Augie) James four years ago, she refused to name the father. After

the supermodel went to family court on Friday, the New York Post revealed a possible reason why

Evangelista remained tight-lipped.

Max Talbot

This was Max Talbot(notes) after his fight with Daniel Carcillo during Game 6 of the 2009 Eastern

Conference quarterfinal. His shushing of the Philadelphia crowd and Penguins comeback soon after that

moment made him an even bigger "superstar" in Pittsburgh than he already was.

He's definitely one of those tough, bottom-six kind of forwards. Is he in the mold of Ian Laperriere? Yeah,

It feels like it's been forever since I've shown the progress of my own loft apartment.  Admittedly, between the
10 weeks of strep throat and just trying to fumble gracefully through life, I've let projects go by the wayside .

Avoid this tourist trap! 1. The site is not ready, evidenced by total disorganization from start to finish. 2. The

cost was too much for the value-$346 for a family of five (three young kids) 3. The road up is 12 miles of

HELL. Wash pan for 12 miles and it is going to get worse before it gets better. Add and extra 1 1/2 hours for

this 24 mile gem.

The view is best though from the glass perch of the Grand Canyon Skywalk -- a 70 foot horseshoe shaped

bridge more than half a mile above the ground. It has brought smiles and amazement, but also an ugly lawsuit

that threatens everything.

Grand Canyon West is the only location throughout the entire Grand Canyon where visitors can access the

river and water recreation activities at the bottom of the canyon via helicopter tours.
