all the things I love to do, traveling has to be my favorite. But sadly, like many other people, I don’t often get the chance to travel to faraway exciting places. Things like time, money, school, and work always get in the way. Luckily enough, I’ve discovered that sweepstakes and contests can really help me reach my goals for traveling! Sure, you don’t win every contest you enter, but even if I won just one I’d be so excited! I’ve always dreamed of  traveling to wonderfully mysterious places.

Back when many of us were gearing up to go back to school, the shopping list was filled with notebooks (the kind without a battery), pens (read: not a stylus), and a few dozen pencils (old-school #2s that required manual sharpening). Maybe, just maybe, we would have a new graphing calculator to look forward to, but if we ever saw 'smart' and 'phone' in the same sentence, it was probably in a handwritten note from mom begging us to stop making long-distance calls on the landline.keep reading for the most latest news and reports from the newsexcel.com

Chris Evans described ,hesitant on this huge role

Chris evans have said that i will hard work on this filem and its first time for me such like working with a highly profiled actors , partners over at Movie Fanatic recently sat down with Captain America himself, Chris Evans, with his film's release slated for Friday.

Evans described being hesitant to take on such a huge role (he had to go to therapy) and talked about what it's like working with such an all-star cast.

In a wide-ranging interview, the Captain America: The First Avenger star also humbly discussed what it's like to be a (reluctant) sex symbol and more.
It wasn't quite so easy for Chris Evans to pull off the feat off-screen.
Just hearing him talk about it might make one sore -- or nauseous.

MIT's Backtalk project / art exhibit traces the unseen life of discarded gadgets

Sooner or later, the device you're reading this on will either be sold, donated, recycled or otherwise disposed of; and unless you're particularly nostalgic about old gadgets like us, you likely won't ever give it much more thought. But no matter how you get rid of it, that device doesn't just vanish off the face the Earth. It's that extra life that got the folks from MIT's SENSEable City Lab thinking, and the Backtalk project is what they've come up with. Part research project and part art exhibition (now on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York), the effort involved using GPS tracking devices to trace where things like cellphones, batteries and printer cartridges end up after being discarded -- and, in the case of 40 netbook computers, some tracking software and their built-in webcams, which recorded data and images that were sent back to MIT at regular intervals (with the new owners' consent, of course). Some of the results can be seen in the video after the break and the site linked below, but you'll have to check out the exhibit first-hand to see the full scope of their findings.

When Twitter Met Facebook -- Awkwardly

You would think that a meeting between the founders of the world’s most popular social networks would be a fun affair, with conversation revolving around funding, investments and who has the bigger userbase. In reality, it appears it is a much more dour experience, at least if Twitter co-founder Biz Stone is to be believed.
In November 2008, Twitter co-founders Biz Stone and Evan Williams jumped into a car and ventured over to Facebook to meet Mark Zuckerberg, in a meeting which we recognise as the time when Facebook tried to buy Twitter.
Talking in an interview with NPR’s Peter Sagal, Stone reveals the awkward meeting with Zuckerberg, thanks largely to the Facebook founder’s apparent lack of humour.

When asked whether Twitter’s founders were members of “incredibly luxurious club “you and Zuckerberg and the guys from Google all get together and you sit in these, like, solid gold armchairs and you all just stare at your smartphones and never talk to each other,”  Stone admits it wasn’t far from the truth:

Stone: I had a meeting once with Zuckerberg, and every joke I said landed like a dead fish on the ground.

    Sagal: Really?

    Stone: So I said…

Sagal: He just stared at you like a Vulcan.

    Stone: Yeah.

The Twitter boss also recalls the uncomfortable moment when they initially entered the meeting room:

Stone: Evan and I walked into the room. He walked in first, sat in a chair. There was a loveseat left. It was a small room. I walked in next, sat on one side of the loveseat. Ev walked in third and Ev said, oh, do you want me to close the door or leave it open? And Zuckerberg said, “yes.”

"So Ev said, 'Oh, well I guess I'll just close it this much.'" This probably loses some humour in the telling but it was greeted with much laughter by the audience, who presumably were fans of door-related humour.

How well the gang get along might be moot, as according to Stone Twitter is not courting a suitor. When they met Zuckerberg asked the Twitter founders for a price and Stone said $500m as it was a "ridiculous" figure.

Things seemed to get worse after that as Stone apparently does not like queuing for food, something that is apparently part of the culture at Facebook.

"The worst moment was he was like 'Hey, do you guys want to go have lunch at our cafeteria?' So we had to wait on this huge line for lunch. Evan (Williams) was like, 'Aren't you the boss? Can't you like kind of cut the line a little bit here?,'" he added. "And he's like 'That's not how we do things here.'"

After this Stone "bailed", because, he said, "We don't like to be queued up."

ellie goulding was just amazing

Ellie" Goulding (born 30 December 1986),is an English singer-songwriter. She became only the second artist to be named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of the year in the BBC's annual poll of music critics, Sound of 2010, and become the recipient of the Critics' Choice Award at the BRIT Awards in the same year, following Adele's win of both in 2008. After signing to Polydor Records in 2009, she released her first extended-play recording in 2009, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, and her debut studio album Lights followed in 2010. Her album went on to debut at number one on the UK Albums Chart and sold over 380,000 copies by the end of 2010.

Holy sweet damn. Just saw an SNL repeat tonight from earlier this year. Ellie Goulding was the musical guest and was just amazing. She sung this cover of Elton John's "Your Song" at the Royal Wedding apparently. EPIC. Her voice reminds me a little of Bjork but Britishy
She had met Prince William only once, the previous May at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor. Unbeknown to Ellie, the Prince and Kate Middleton - 'Catherine,' Ellie corrects me - were backstage watching her set. Afterwards, Ellie was accosted by the rapper Tinie Tempah, with whom she had collaborated on the single 'Wonderman', and who introduced her to the Prince. 'Prince William was just really gushing, and, like, "I really enjoyed the show." He is so nice, just genuinely the nicest human being.' She said: "I watched a lot of films and television and I realised there was this whole other accent, like the one news presenters have, so I copied that. That's why it appears I speak quite well, but I'm not meant to."

The singer now blames panic attacks that she experienced years later on this transformation. Ellie Goulding stopped by San Francisco's famed Alamo Park to play a couple of tunes, including this gorgeous and stripped down version of "Starry Eyed." Ellie's acoustic performances (like this one) neatly spotlight her powerful, emotionally honest songwriting and her heartfelt delivery that warms me everytime.
