Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2" portend an exciting event for movie-goers. Of course, with the huge media build-up, it would be hard for HP fans to be disappointed by the last big screen installment of J.K. Rowling's series.Picking up right where Part 1 left off, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) are still trying to locate the remaining horcruxes that contain pieces of Voldemort’s (Ralph Fiennes) soul. They believe one of them lies in the vault of Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena BonhamMany of the characters have their moment. The uptight Professor Minerva MacGonagall (Maggie Smith) casts a spell that she has always wanted to and duels with Severus Snape (Alan Rickman). Neville Longbottom stands up to Voldemort.Diehard Harry Potter fans flocked to Valley movie theaters Thursday, clamoring for seats to the midnight premiere of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts. In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe.In this final episode, Harry (Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) continue their battle to find and destroy the "horcruxes" that the sinister Voldemort needs so he can stay alive for all eternity: these are objects in which the fragments of souls are trapped and whose vital, spiritual force Voldemort, that hateful parasite, can siphon off for his own ends."The actors here have to make the most of their fleeting moments, and they consistently do. What the post-'Potter' careers of Radcliffe, Watson and Grint will be like is anyone's guess, but at this point they know how to take these particular characters to the bridge without breaking a sweat.Deathly Hallows Part 2 must be an exception to the film rule that says you need a beginning, middle and end. It is a film with no open, just a long climax with a resounding finale. Yet it is the series’ most cohesive installment by far. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have come of age and have fully matured into their respective roles – their performances are noticeably different (improved) from when they began production on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone back in 2000.

Jason Isaacs believes that the Harry Potter film series ends on a "sensational" note with Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
