Denise Richards is opening up about her life with Charlie Sheen - the good and the bad.
In the actress' new book, "The Real Girl Next Door," Denise wrote candidly about her relationship with the sitcom star, but when it came to revealing what led to the demise of their marriage, she stayed mum.where Denise saw a side of Charlie that many would never believe existed.
"He had a panic attack before meeting my parents," she told Maria. "It was sweet. You would never think Charlie Sheen would be nervous meeting parents, but he was. And it was very sweet and endearing and my parents loved him."I did have to have a conversation with them about addiction and got a book to read to them because I was just lying to them so much and covering up and telling lies, and it was just getting too confusing," Richards told Matt Lauer Tuesday on the "Today" show.

Denise Richards is head over heels for Eloise Joni, the 5-week-old daughter she recently adopted (who joins big sisters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, from the actress' previous marriage to Charlie Sheen).Though she's "been with her since the day she was born," Richards admits that the adoption process was far from easy. "Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day. The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through. But I knew the right baby would find us.
