Joel "Taz" DeGregorio, a longtime keyboardist in the Charlie Daniels Band and co-writer of the group's biggest hit, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," was killed Wednesday night in a one-car crash west of Nashville.TMZ reports that Joel “Taz” DiGregorio was on his way to meet the band's tour bus in Tennessee when he crashed on Interstate 40 west of Nashville.
